I finished the last part of my danish written exams. A 3½ hours test in a computer room where I have to choose between 5 given topics, and then write an essay about one of them. Usually the exam I'm best at. At last years exams I got top grades and the teacher, who had read my essay, even came up to me and said that it was absolutely brilliant and one of the best essays, he had ever read (which, of course, made me really proud).
Today, though, didn't go that well. It started out as good idea, but I kind of had an epic fail. It didn't turn out very well. So I'm not counting on top grades but still pretty good :).
After school I had a burger with two of my friends, which was really nice.
I also visited the library when my two friends had left, because I prefer to go to library alone. I love that place but it's not a place where I would go to hang out. I like sitting in their comfortable chairs, reading a mildly interesting book, listening to music and watching the people walking by. There is all sorts of people at the library but they're all here for the same thing, because we all share the same passion for books and music.
I got myself three CDs:
Mikael Simpson: Stille og Uroligt - A very unique Danish electronica artist who make all his music in his own bedroom in the middle of the night when normal people are sleeping.
Smashing Pumpkins: Rotten Apples - I don't think they need an introduction. Wonderful, that's what they are.
Snöleoparden: Snöleoparden - another Danish artist but I can't label him as indiepop, electronica, world, ompa or anything like that. His music defines itself. But it is obvious that he is very inspirered by the mysteries of the East.
And tonight I'm having dinner at Signe's place ^^
So basically this blog have no purpose whatsoever.
Except for reminding myself and everyone else who might be reading, that it doesn't take much to have a good day. You don't need a whole bunch of succes, you don't need tons of friends and loads of money. You just do what you feel like doing. At the end of the day, that is what counts the most and makes it a good day.
